Refund and Returns Policy

1. General Refund Policy
At Travelwiz, we aim to offer the best travel experiences for our customers. However, we understand that plans can change. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for bookings made with Travelwiz.

  • Eligibility for Refunds: Refunds are available only for certain services under specific conditions as outlined in this policy. Not all services are refundable; specific terms will be communicated during the booking process.
  • Non-Refundable Services: Some services, including special promotions, last-minute bookings, and certain travel packages, may be non-refundable. The non-refundable status will be clearly indicated at the time of booking.

2. Cancellation by Customer

  • Timeframe & Fees: The timing of the cancellation determines the applicable charges:
    • 30 Days or More Before Check-In: No cancellation charges. 100% of the amount will be refunded as a credit note. You can request a transfer to your bank, subject to a ₹2,200 service charge.
    • Between 29 and 20 Days Before Check-In: 30% of the package cost will be deducted as cancellation charges. The remaining amount will be refunded as a credit note. Bank transfer requests are subject to a ₹2,200 service charge.
    • Within 20 Days Prior to Check-In: 100% of the package cost will be deducted as cancellation charges.
  • Cruise Cancellations:
    • Before 45 Days of Travel: 30% of the booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
    • Within 45 Days of Travel: Charges depend on the Cruise operator’s cancellation policy.
  • Flight Cancellations: Policies depend on the airline’s terms as per booking.
  • Supplementary Services (Visa & Insurance): 100% of the booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee post-booking.

3. Cancellation by Travelwiz

  • Full Refund: If Travelwiz cancels your booking for reasons other than force majeure (e.g., weather, natural disasters), you will receive a full refund for the amount paid for the canceled service.
  • Rescheduling Option: You may be offered the option to reschedule your booking instead of receiving a refund. Rescheduled bookings are subject to availability.

4. Refund Process

  • Request: To request a refund, contact us at info@travelwiz.co.in with your booking details and reason for cancellation.
  • Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of receiving your request. The time for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your payment method and financial institution.
  • Payment Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at booking. Notify us if the original payment method is no longer valid to arrange an alternative.

5. No-Show Policy

  • No Refunds: No refunds will be issued if you fail to show up for your booking or fail to cancel within the specified time frame.

6. Special Circumstances

  • Force Majeure: In the event of cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis, with special terms potentially applying.
  • Health-Related Cancellations: For cancellations due to a medical emergency or health issue, contact us as soon as possible. Refunds or rescheduling options may be offered at our discretion.
